Lecturer in Textiles / Art & Design

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of students’ learning programmes as appropriate.

The post is based as detailed below, for 18.5 hours per week as follows:

• Monday              9.30 – 12.00  (Afan)
• Tuesday              9.30 – 12.00  / 12.30- 3.30  (Afan)
• Wednesday        9.30 – 12.00  / 12.30 – 3.30 (Afan)
• Thursday             1.30 – 4.00 (Afan)
• Friday                   9.00- 11.30 (Neath AS Textiles)   12.30 – 2.30 (Afan)

Candidates should possess a level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, have relevant experience and hold a teaching qualification. Candidates should also have a level 2 qualifications in both Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and with the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning, will need to be IT literate to at least level 2.
